It’s a nice cool, Saturday morning and I just woke up and the first thought that came into my head was “IT’S GAME DAY!”.
Today, the Houston Texans take on the Cincinnati Bengals at home at 4:30 pm EST. Both teams will be coming into the game today off of losses in the previous week. The Texans lost against the Jaguars due to a bad snap, and has nine giveaways in the last 4 games. One thing Houston cannot do today is turn it over. However, the Bengals have run for only more than 100 yards as a team in the last nine games.
One thing to look at is everyone is wondering if the Bengals actually have a shot at winning. They already have 1 loss against the Texans, 1 loss against the 49ers, along with two losses against the Steelers and two losses against the Ravens.
Texans linebacker Brian Cushing thinks that today will be the best game the Texans have ever played.
“”Just be ready for Saturday and bring your best stuff because you’ll see the best game the Texans have played all year, and I can guarantee that,” Cushing said Tuesday on KILT in Houston (via SportsRadioInterviews.com). “I haven’t been this excited about a football game, maybe ever.”"
Cushing thinks this game will get the Texans out of their slump.
“I feel good … because I feel as easy as you can get off a roll, you can get right back on it,” he said. “There would be nothing like winning a playoff game. That would be huge momentum, and that’s just something we need to do and we know that. Going into this game, the adrenaline and the momentum is going to be huge. The crowd’s going to be into it, we’re going to be excited and we’re going to play our best ball. There’s no questioning that.”
We at Treacherous Texans will have more game information as the kickoff time gets closer. Stay tuned!
